Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly successful and well-established estate agency and mortgage brokerage group to recruit an experienced Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Adviser to join their busy Doncaster branch.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a fully qualified Mortgage Broker seeking strong lead generation, excellent earning potential, flexible working arrangements, and long-term career progression within one of the largest and most successful independent estate agency groups in Europe.

The successful Mortgage Broker will work from a high-performing Doncaster office dealing with mortgage values up to £450,000, with average property values of approximately £165,000 and over 700 properties sold per month across the area.

The Opportunity

This role offers the successful Mortgage Broker the opportunity to work alongside a highly sales-focused estate agency team while benefiting from strong introducer relationships, existing client opportunities, and regular fresh mortgage leads.

The Doncaster office alone has an existing client database of over 2,000 customers, creating substantial opportunities for remortgage, protection, and repeat business generation.

Key Responsibilities – Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Adviser

As Mortgage Broker, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing regulated mortgage and protection advice
• Working closely with estate agency negotiators and introducers
• Conducting client appointments and fact-finds
• Advising on residential mortgages and associated protection products
• Contacting existing clients to review mortgage and protection arrangements
• Managing mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion
• Building strong relationships with clients and introducers
• Maintaining FCA-compliant advice standards
• Maximising protection and ancillary income opportunities
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process

Experience & Requirements

To be considered for this Mortgage Broker opportunity, applicants must possess:

• Full CeMAP qualification, MAQ, CF6, or equivalent
• Competent Adviser Status (CAS) preferred
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Adviser
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and protection products
• Experience working within estate agency, banking, tied, or independent mortgage environments
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong sales and customer service abilities
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Professional and commercially driven attitude

As this role involves operating as the sole Mortgage Broker within the branch, strong mortgage knowledge and the ability to work independently are essential.
