Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a hybrid part-time mortgage advisor based out of the Rickmansworth office, you will step into a warm environment with an immediate, unlimited pipeline of high-quality leads.

• Proactive Client Management: Manage and service an extensive, highly loyal database of existing clients requiring expert remortgage advice.

• Whole of Market Advice: Conduct thorough fact-finds to offer comprehensive independent mortgage advice alongside vital protection and insurance products.

• Flexible Digital Consultation: Conduct the vast majority of client meetings remotely via Telephone, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams to suit client preferences.

• Hybrid Evolution: Initially work from the Rickmansworth office to collaborate closely with the senior broker, gradually transitioning to a hybrid model working from home a couple of days a week.

• Flexible Scheduling: Work around your personal situation, including weekends if desired, allowing you to maximize client contact during peak availability hours.

• Pure Advising: Utilize the dedicated, in-house mortgage administration support provided to ensure your valuable time is spent advising clients rather than chasing paperwork and lenders.

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

This position is tailored specifically for an autonomous, self-motivated part-time mortgage broker who can hit the ground running and capitalize on high earnings from day one.

• Qualifications: Full CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent CII/IFS qualification is mandatory.

• Experience: Proven track record as a mortgage advisor, mortgage broker, or mortgage adviser. Applications are highly welcome from individuals who have left the industry and are looking for a supported route back.

• Background: Open to professionals from Independent (Whole of Market), Tied, or Banking mortgage environments.

• Attributes: Highly disciplined, committed, and motivated with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

• Compliance: A clean credit history, zero valid complaints, and no criminal convictions are essential.
