Our client is a reputable and established Engineering company based in Leeds. We are working with them to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join the business and oversee the Finance Team on a day to day basis.

This exciting and challenging role will include the following duties:

* Oversee, support and develop the team of 5
* Produce the monthly management accounts
* Costing and WIP Margin Analysis
* Producing the quarterly figures
* Annual budget preparation
* VAT
* Sales statistics
* Delivering a timely and accurate month end
* Reconciliations
* Pension`s scheme administration
* Oversee Payroll
* Company car administration
* Insurances, contracts, building and equipment maintenance.

The role requires a self-started, someone who is confident in an all-round role where they will provide financial and operational support. The ideal candidate will be confident in an SME environment and it is essential that you have project accounting and costing experience. Strong communications skills are of vital importance as you will be supporting and working with non-finance staff.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / CIMA or ACA Qualified and come from an SME background.
