Job Information

I am currently recruiting for an experienced generalist HR Advisor for an initial 3 month contract with possible extension. My client is looking for someone to undertake key projects in line with Assessment & Development Centre Design & Delivery, Recruitment, Succession Planning and Policy Development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

? Contribute to the delivery of all OD related objectives contained with the People Strategy, including the implementation of the Talent Management Plan.
? Support the HR Manager : Organisational Development to monitor and review all aspects of employee learning and development, and contribute to the design and implementation of L&D interventions that are recognised as good practice and value for money.
? Support the design and progression of an organisational skills audit, ensuring the process delivers outcomes that will influence the organisational approach to workforce development and resourcing.
? Provide specialist advice, guidance and assistance to all staff relating to the organisational development agenda as detailed within the People Strategy.
? Continually undertake research to identify innovative and best practice approaches to workforce and organisational development, making formal recommendations to the HR Manager : Organisational Development.
? Adopt a creative approach to identifying alternative methods to developing employees, including e-learning and coaching/mentoring etc.
? Support resourcing activity as and when required, particularly by acting as an assessor during recruitment and selection processes.
? Provide a comprehensive, specialist support service to NVQ candidates, Assessors and Internal Verifiers to ensure that consistency of the verification and assessment procedures is maintained. Required to maintain and support internal and external quality assurance processes and procedures.
? Contribute to activities and initiatives relating to staff engagement and culture change.
? To be responsible for the accurate and appropriate processing of data, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures (i.e. data protection).

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

? CIPD qualified, working towards or similar
? Knowledge of Talent Management, particularly relating to workforce development
? An understanding of employment law, particularly in relation to equality
? Experience of developing policies in accordance with organisational strategy
? Proven experience in the effective delivery of a support service relating to workforce development
? Proven ability to develop and implement creative and innovative solutions
? Experience of working across Functions to engage the workforce with initiatives
