About the Role – Senior Mortgage Advisor Southsea

This exciting Senior Mortgage Advisor position is based within a high-performing estate agency branch in Southsea, generating between 7–10 first appointments per week.

As a Senior Mortgage Broker, you will provide whole-of-market mortgage advice across residential mortgages, remortgages, first-time buyer mortgages, home mover mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, residential investment lending, and mortgage protection products.

You'll be working closely with estate agents, branch managers, property negotiators, mortgage introducers, and existing clients to maximise conversion opportunities and build a profitable mortgage and protection business.

The successful Senior Mortgage Advisor will enjoy a consistent flow of mortgage leads, access to a strong remortgage pipeline, and the opportunity to achieve substantial high earnings through an uncapped commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert whole-of-market mortgage advice
• Provide mortgage and protection recommendations to homebuyers and homeowners
• Advise on residential mortgages, remortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, and protection products
• Generate mortgage applications from estate agency referrals
• Build relationships with estate agency staff and introducers
• Maintain FCA compliance and mortgage compliance standards
• Manage your own mortgage sales pipeline effectively
• Achieve mortgage sales and protection sales targets
• Deliver exceptional customer service and client outcomes
• Generate repeat business and referral opportunities

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this Senior Mortgage Advisor role in Southsea, you should possess:

• CeMAP qualified status (minimum CeMAP 1)
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, Financial Advisor, Mortgage Consultant, or Senior Mortgage Broker
• Strong mortgage sales experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Protection sales experience desirable
• Proven ability to build client relationships
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Knowledge of FCA mortgage regulations
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
