As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join the team and play a key role in supporting both the advisers and clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in financial services who enjoys working in a client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the financial planning process, ensuring that business is processed accurately, clients are kept informed, and advisers have everything they need to deliver an outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners throughout the financial planning process.
Manage the end-to-end processing of new business across pensions, investments and protection.
Handle Letters of Authority (LOAs), ensuring requests are submitted, monitored and followed through efficiently to obtain the required information from providers.
Support the firm's ongoing Annual Review Service by preparing review packs, obtaining up-to-date valuations and policy information, scheduling reviews and ensuring service standards are maintained.
Prepare documentation and client information for meetings.
Liaise with providers, platforms and third parties to progress cases and resolve queries.
Maintain accurate client records and workflows within Intelligent Office.
Assist with report preparation and administration required by Paraplanners.
Provide proactive updates to clients throughout the advice process, delivering a high standard of customer service.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to the continued efficiency of the business.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Previous experience working within a Financial Services Administration role.
Good understanding of pensions, investments and protection products.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and personable approach when dealing with clients.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
Experience using Intelligent Office (iO).
Experience using FE Analytics.
Knowledge of industry platforms and provider systems.
Experience supporting financial planners within an independent financial advice practice.
