Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to present a home-based opportunity for an experienced, fully CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join an established independent mortgage brokerage specialising in the New Build and Shared Ownership sector across Tyneside and the wider North East.
This Home-Based Mortgage Advisor role is ideal for an experienced adviser motivated by high earnings, consistent quality leads and the opportunity to work with established New Build developers across key locations including Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Shields, South Shields, Wallsend, Whitley Bay and Washington.

Main Duties
As an experienced Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker, you will work predominantly on a home-based basis, dealing with New Build mortgage enquiries generated through established developer and referral partnerships across Tyneside and the North East.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a consistent flow of high-quality mortgage leads from developer sites and referral partners
Providing whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
Advising New Build and Shared Ownership buyers
Conducting client appointments by telephone and video
Working closely with developers, clients, solicitors and lenders
Managing mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion
Building strong relationships with New Build developers and referral partners
Maximising mortgage and protection opportunities
Delivering excellent customer outcomes
Benefiting from full administration and case-management support, allowing you to focus on advising and converting leads

Key Skills & Experience
We welcome applications from experienced Mortgage Advisors and Mortgage Brokers who meet the following criteria:
Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent
Previous experience providing mortgage and protection advice
Strong residential mortgage knowledge
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage a busy mortgage pipeline
Commercially driven and target-focused approach
Professional and client-focused attitude
Clean credit and regulatory history
Full UK driving licence
Located within or close to Tyneside or the wider North East
Candidates with previous New Build, Shared Ownership, developer-led or high-volume mortgage experience will have a distinct advantage.
Location – Tyneside & North East
Although this is predominantly a home-based Mortgage Advisor position, applicants should live within a reasonable distance of Tyneside and the surrounding North East.
