Due to continued growth across the financial services division, the company also has Trainee Mortgage Advisor roles available within branches in Dagenham, Basildon, Billericay and Chelmsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has achieved their CeMAP 1 qualification and is looking for their first position within mortgage advice, offering structured training, quality estate agency leads, ongoing mentoring and genuine long-term career progression.

The Trainee Mortgage Advisor Role
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker, you'll benefit from a structured development programme designed to take you from CeMAP-qualified trainee through to becoming a successful Mortgage and Protection Advisor.
You'll receive a combination of formal training, on-the-job development and ongoing mentoring from an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager.
Initially, you'll develop your knowledge and experience across protection and general insurance advice, before progressing into full mortgage advice as your experience and competency develop.
Working closely with an established estate agency branch means you'll also have access to a regular flow of potential mortgage clients, giving you the opportunity to develop your sales skills and build your client bank.
Your Responsibilities
Work closely with the estate agency team to promote mortgage and protection services
Develop your knowledge of mortgage, protection and general insurance products
Provide professional and customer-focused financial advice
Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to application
Keep clients informed throughout the mortgage process
Deliver excellent levels of customer service
Identify mortgage and protection opportunities
Generate new business from estate agency leads
Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs
Attend structured training courses and sales meetings
Develop towards becoming a fully competent Mortgage Advisor
What We're Looking For
To be considered for one of these Trainee Mortgage Advisor roles, you should have:
CeMAP 1 qualification as a minimum – essential
Previous sales experience, ideally face-to-face or telephone based
A genuine desire to build a long-term career within mortgage advice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills
Good attention to detail and organisational ability
A proactive and target-driven approach
Full UK driving licence
Access to a vehicle
Clear credit history and regulatory record
Previous mortgage experience is not essential. This position is specifically designed for individuals who have achieved their CeMAP qualification and now need an employer prepared to provide the training, mentoring and practical experience required to develop their mortgage career.
