Due to consistently high property volumes and a strong financial-services-focused culture, our client is seeking an experienced Hybrid Mortgage Advisor or Hybrid Mortgage Broker to work alongside a market-leading estate agency team, offering genuine high earnings and long-term career stability.

Overview – Cambridge / St Ives Hybrid Role

Working from the Cambridge / St Ives estate agency branch 3–4 days per week, the Hybrid Mortgage Advisor will benefit from consistent introductions generated by an experienced and financially focused sales team.

The Hybrid Mortgage Broker will typically receive 7–10 high-quality mortgage leads per week, with the volume of property sales across the Cambridge and St Ives area creating an excellent opportunity for sustained high earnings.

Average property values are around £350,000, with regular transactions up to £900,000, and an average case size of circa £3,000.

Over the past two years, the branch has averaged 70+ property sales per month, providing a driven Hybrid Mortgage Advisor with the capacity to bank £180,000+ in procuration fees, broker fees and protection income, translating into earnings comfortably in excess of £90,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a Hybrid Mortgage Advisor working closely with the Cambridge / St Ives estate agency team

• Provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice as a Hybrid Mortgage Broker

• Conduct face-to-face appointments in branch alongside telephone and virtual consultations

• Convert 7–10 qualified leads per week generated by estate agency introducers

• Proactively manage and nurture a warm existing client database for remortgage and protection reviews

• Build long-term relationships with branch managers, sales negotiators and introducers

• Maintain FCA-compliant advice standards and deliver excellent client outcomes

• Manage your pipeline efficiently to support consistent performance and high earnings

Employed & Self-Employed Options

Our client offers genuine flexibility, making this role attractive to both employed advisors and experienced brokers seeking to top up an existing client bank.

Employed Option

• Basic salary up to £35,000 including car allowance

Skills & Experience Required

• Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent

• Competent Adviser Status (CAS)

• Proven track record as a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker

• Experience working with estate agency or professional introducers preferred

• Strong knowledge of mortgages and associated protection products

• Ambitious, driven and target-focused mindset

• Professional, personable and confident in client-facing environments

• Clean credit history with no unresolved complaints or disciplinary matters

• Full UK driving licence

• Living within a commutable distance of Cambridge / St Ives
