BDM Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Protection Advisor / Protection Broker on behalf of a highly successful and well-established mortgage and protection brokerage based in Berkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced protection professional looking for a home-based role offering a £30,000 basic salary, a consistent supply of quality leads, strong administrative support and excellent earning potential.

Rather than spending your time trying to generate your own business, you will receive an average of approximately 35 pre-qualified protection leads per month, generated through an established team of Mortgage Advisors.

With an extensive existing client database also available for reviews and additional business opportunities, this role provides genuine scope to build a substantial protection pipeline and achieve earnings of £50,000 – £80,000+ OTE.

The Opportunity

Working from home, you will provide clients with professional protection advice across a comprehensive range of products, including:

• Life Insurance

• Critical Illness Cover

• Income Protection

• Family Income Benefit

• Mortgage Protection

• Relevant protection solutions based on individual client circumstances

You will have access to a strong panel of leading protection providers, allowing you to recommend appropriate solutions to meet your clients' individual needs.

Leads & Earning Potential

One of the major attractions of this position is the quality and consistency of the leads provided.

You can expect:

• £30,000 basic salary

• Approximately 35 pre-qualified leads per month

• Leads generated by an established team of Mortgage Advisors

• No requirement to rely solely on self-generated business

• Access to an extensive existing client database

• Opportunities to conduct protection reviews with existing clients

• Uncapped commission

• Realistic £50,000 – £80,000+ OTE

• Genuine potential for high earnings

Key Responsibilities

As a Home-Based Protection Advisor / Protection Broker, you will:

• Contact new protection leads promptly and professionally

• Conduct detailed client fact finds

• Understand clients' individual circumstances, priorities and protection requirements

• Provide advice across life insurance, critical illness, income protection and related products

• Present appropriate protection recommendations clearly to clients

• Maintain regular communication throughout the application process

• Review existing clients' protection arrangements

• Identify opportunities within the existing client database

• Maintain accurate client and compliance records

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Previous experience working as a Protection Advisor or Protection Broker

• A proven track record of providing protection advice

• R05 qualification

• Strong knowledge of life insurance and protection products

• Excellent telephone and client communication skills

• A professional and customer-focused approach

• Strong sales and relationship-building skills

• The ability to work effectively and independently from home

• A clean credit history
