We are working with a leading Consultancy Management Services business and they are looking to recruit a Director to head up their client accounting teams.

Reporting into the Vice President of Client Accounting, the role will be responsible for the client accounting functions, overseeing a team of c25 people, including 3 Client Accounting Managers. The role will be based in London, however there will be some international travel involved.

Candidates will need to have proven experience managing transactional functions (AP, Billing, Expenses, AR ect) and have sound accounting experience (Ideally part of fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Key duties will include;

•Lead and develop the regional accounting teams, with the ability to manage and motivate staff across all levels.
•Ensuring client SLA's are adhered
•Auditing of processors, activities and client accounting functions for the region
•Oversee the payment processes and controls, transactional processors, expense processing and accounting entries
•Responsible for process improvement across client accounting teams
•Working as part of the senior global management team, ensuring compliance with global controls and processors
•Build strong relationships with Directors across the business, involved in business development initiatives and new client implementations

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven management experience and have worked in a similar role at this level. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior management.
