We are working with a well-established group of companies and they are looking for an experienced Project Manager/ IT Manager to work on a 6-12 month contract.

This is an immediate need, so candidates will need to be either immediately available or on 1-2 weeks’ notice.

The role will be leading the project and will be responsible for the implementation of a bespoke single platform, multifunctional operating system into its head office in Harlow. The successful candidate will be reporting at board level to the group CEO and the key stakeholders are the divisional MD’s. Duties will include;

•Involved in the development, testing, implementation and roll out of the system across the group
•End to end project management, process mapping, analysis of the system and providing recommendations for effective operational use
•Providing specifications to the development team
•Acting as a liaison between the IT System Development team and the different departments across the business that are using the system and need it to be effective on an operational basis (HR, Finance, Fleet, Sales, Stock Control and Engineering).
•Experience working with a variety of application and have proven project management and IT skills.
•Ensuring that the system is effectively delivered into the business to meet operational needs.

Candidates will need to have very strong IT and system implementation experience and possess (ideally most if not all) of the following skills and qualifications;

•Certified Prince 2 Practitioner
•Scrum Master
•Certified Agile Practitioner
•Certified ITIL Foundation
•Certified MSP Practitioner
•Micro P2
•Certified MS Project
•ILM in Leadership & Management Level 5

Candidates will need to have very strong IT and system implementation experience, in addition to having excellent communication and the ability to interpret technical terms to non IT managers.

Change management, presentation Skills, managing Conflict and negotiation skills are also essential for this role.
