About the Role

Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler looking for a flexible role closer to home? We are seeking a talented Cross-Class Commercial Account Handler to join our established team in Lichfield.

Whether you are looking for full-time stability or flexible part-time hours to support work-life balance, we would love to hear from you. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across various product lines, handling new business, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and renewals.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management: Manage a broad portfolio of cross-class commercial clients through the full policy lifecycle (Renewals, New Business, and MTAs).
• Cross-Class Broking: Place and service a wide variety of risks, including:
  • Commercial Combined & Property
  • Fleet & Motor Trade
  • Financial Lines (D&O, Professional Indemnity, Cyber)
  • Agricultural & Farming risks
• Client & Underwriter Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and clients to secure optimal cover and competitive terms.
• Documentation & Administration: Prepare professional client documentation, summaries, and market presentations in accordance with FCA guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

• Commercial Experience: Proven background as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broking environment.
• Cross-Class Knowledge: Solid understanding of general commercial covers, including Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines, and ideally Agricultural/Farming risks.
• Full Lifecycle Experience: Hands-on experience dealing with New Business quotations, Mid-Term Adjustments, and Renewal retention.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Certifications: Cert CII qualified (or progress towards) is advantageous.
