Location: Brentwood / Billericay, Essex – Hybrid (2–3 days in branch, remainder from home)

Salary (Employed): £26,000 – £34,000 basic (including car allowance), dependent on experience

OTE: £55,000 – £70,000 | Generous 15% commission plus bonuses

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established, directly authorised mortgage broker brand that provides mortgage and protection advice through two local, independently owned estate agency offices in Brentwood and Billericay.

Our client is seeking an experienced Hybrid Mortgage Advisor or Hybrid Mortgage Broker to join their team on a fully employed basis. With all leads provided, generous commissions and genuinely flexible hybrid working, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy strong earnings without the pressure of generating your own business.

This role is ideally suited to a qualified Hybrid Mortgage Advisor who enjoys working closely with estate agency introducers, values a healthy work–life balance and is motivated by a clear, proven route to an OTE of £55,000 – £70,000.

Overview – Brentwood / Billericay Hybrid Role

The Hybrid Mortgage Advisor will spend 2–3 days per week working from the Brentwood and Billericay estate agency branches, with the remainder of the week working from home.

All leads are provided. As well as a steady flow of introductions generated by the estate agency teams, the Hybrid Mortgage Broker will have access to an existing client base of remortgage business – on average, around 17 renewals per month.

The existing team of brokers consistently bank between £100,000 and £180,000 per annum, demonstrating the strength of the lead flow and the realistic earning potential on offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a Hybrid Mortgage Advisor working closely with the Brentwood and Billericay estate agency branches

• Provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice as a Hybrid Mortgage Broker

• Build strong relationships with branch teams – understanding the business, how each office works and how best to support their customers

• Convert the leads generated by the estate agency branches into completed mortgage and protection business

• Proactively contact the existing client base, managing an average of 17 remortgage renewals per month

• Conduct appointments face-to-face in branch alongside telephone and virtual consultations

• Maintain FCA-compliant advice standards and deliver excellent client outcomes

• Manage your pipeline efficiently to deliver consistent banked income

Salary, Commission & Benefits

Our client offers a fully employed package with a strong basic salary, generous commission and realistic earnings well above the basic.

• Basic salary of £26,000 – £34,000 including car allowance, dependent on previous experience as a mortgage broker

• Generous commission of 15% on all business banked

• Additional bonuses once certain banked income targets have been achieved

• Realistic OTE of £55,000 – £70,000

• All leads provided – estate agency introductions plus an existing remortgage client bank

• Existing team consistently bank between £100,000 and £180,000 per annum

Hours & Flexible Hybrid Working

This is an employed role working Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, with genuine flexibility built in.

• Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week in the Brentwood and Billericay branches, the remainder from home

• Flexible hours – for example, if you have an evening appointment, you can start later the following day

• A healthy work–life balance without compromising on earnings

Skills & Experience Required

• Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent

• 2–3 years' current experience providing whole-of-market mortgage advice

• Experience working with estate agency or professional introducers preferred

• Strong knowledge of mortgages and associated protection products

• Proactive, organised and confident contacting existing clients

• Professional, personable and skilled at building relationships

• Clean credit history with no unresolved complaints or disciplinary matters

• Full UK driving licence

• Living within a commutable distance of Brentwood / Billericay
