Job Information

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor to join a boutique facilities organisation based in Central London.

The successful candidate must have experience of managing a variety of roles simultaneously while meeting clients and candidates expectations.


ROLE

• Assist HR Manager to deliver timely and effective recruitment solutions in accordance with the annual recruitment plan.
• Responsible for planning yearly advertising campaigns (publication and online Job Boards). Liaising with advertising suppliers to ensure adverts are featured within agreed time frames
• Assist HR Manager in coordinating the referral scheme and ensure the process is compliant with policy.
• Assist HR Manager to negotiate the optimum terms with all recruitment agencies and third party providers to ensure cost effectiveness of the recruitment process.
• Encourage and promote cost effective recruitment direct recruitment activity.
• Working in conjunction with the Senior HR Coordinator ensure that all new starter information is provided in a timely manner
• Provide advice and guidance to managers on the most appropriate ways to source candidates for positions, from direct adverts in print media and online, to use of agencies, to employee referral schemes.
• Responsible for overseas recruitment activity and providing effective recruitment solutions in niche labour markets.
• Assist HR Manager to manage business relationships with recruitment agencies, advertising Companies and other third parties to develop preferred supplier partnerships.
• Undertake short listing, first and second stage interviewing (dependant on role).
• Continuously improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process working in conjunction with hiring managers and members of the Recruitment team.
• Oversee the development and updating of job descriptions and structured interview formats taking into account desired core competencies and key selection criteria.
• Effectively utilise and promote the Recruitment systems and work with the HR Manager to ensure maximum efficiency of the system and it’s on-going development.
• Responsible for production of PPA Reports including systems administration and unit allocation.
• Foster relationships and trust with managers responsible for recruitment across the company in order to be seen as credible source of practical advice and expertise on any aspect of recruitment.
• Provide advice, guidance and training to managers on all aspects of the recruitment process and coach managers in best practice interviewing and selection techniques.
• Work cohesively and cooperatively with the entire HR team to ensure a professional and smooth service is provided to our customers.
• Ensure that recruitment policies are adhered to, from the ‘Authority to Recruit’ process through to offer, liaising cooperatively with the HR Manager to ensure related HR Delivery tasks are carried out to a high standard.
• To keep abreast of best recruitment practice and relevant employment law impacting on recruitment and diversity.
• Mentor new members of the Recruitment team in all recruitment activities as directed by the HR Manager
• Work with HR Manager to roll out in-house recruitment and selection training.
• Provide support to the HR Manager in the selection process for any departmental restructures
• In conjunction with HR Manager and Head of Human Resources ensure that all roles are fully justified in advance of seasonal requirements and ensure cost effectiveness for the organisation.
• Provide advice and guidance to Managers in any low level Employee related matters.
• Minute taking for complex ER related matters as directed by the HR Manager.
• To assist HR Manager to identify and implement HR projects as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• HR generalist experience with a focus on recruitment
• Minimum A level educational standard or equivalent
• HR related tertiary qualification or CIPD qualification
• Detailed understanding of UK Employment law
• In-house recruitment experience gained within a HR function of an organisation
• Experience recruiting for a wide variety of roles and disciplines at all levels within
• an organisation
• Experience developing and managing relationships with third party agencies
• Comprehensive experience implementing best practice recruitment methods
• Thorough knowledge of employment legislation with particular emphasis on recruitment, equal opportunity and managing diversity
• Negotiating skills
• Confident and professional manner, comfortable with presenting to large groups of people
• Decisive manner, able to make meaningful decisions quickly and without reservation
• Capable and confident computing skills, particularly MS Office suite and Outlook Express
• Coach and mentor team members
• Supervisory experience
• Experienced/trained in psychometric testing techniques
• Experience of international recruitment assignments
