My client is seeking to appoint a highly Commercial Group Finance Director into a new role, partnering alongside the COO and CEO in providing strategic support at a successful, ambitious and passionate SME business. This is a newly created position managing the Finance Function and overseeing all of the financial aspects of the company's strategy.

The Finance Director will:

� Partner the CEO and COO in helping to ensure that the business is run commercially and continues to grow through expansion of current business lines and through acquisitions.
� Support all the commercial decision making of the business
� Lead financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
� Liaison with banks and corporate finance partners
� Provide robust management information to Senior Management
� Have considerable input into the day to day operations and long term strategy of the business
� Oversee a small team in finance, dealing with the management reporting and financial controls
� Oversee the budget and long range planning proposals
� Provide input into key decision making around investments and commercial proposals

Applicants for this role:
� Qualified Accountant
� Experience of the SME Sector
� Ideally have experience within the Sales or Media Sector
� Must either have proven experience in a commercial Finance Director role.
� Will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
� Have strong commercial acumen
� Have extensive senior management experience
� M&A experience would be advantageous
