Cameron James Recruitment is currently working with a well-established technology based firm in the Halifax area. Following a minor restructure, they are now looking for a strong Finance Manager to manage a small finance team and report to board.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Managing the finance team on a day to day basis
• Assisting with Financial Director with the year-end
• Operate and oversee the operation of finance processes on a day to day basis
• Ad hoc projects
• Proposing improvements to the financial processes
• Implementing cost reductions
• Develop and implement robust finance mechanisms, which reduce risk
• Increase productivity of finance team

You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified and have significant experience in managing and motivating a small finance team. Candidates will be self-starters who are accustomed to working in fast paced and demanding environments.

Essentially our client needs a motivated and dynamic Finance Manager (relevantly qualified) who understands the inner workings and needs of an SME. The successful candidate will have much scope to develop and move up as the organisation grows. This is an exciting time to be joining such a growing business.
