Job Information

My client, an established firm of IFA’s and Wealth Managers are presently looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced IFA Support administrator. The successful candidate must have previous financial office experience.

Working for a small/medium sized IFA.

Qualifications

Ideally will be progressing with industry qualifications.

Experience

The successful candidate should hold the following skills;

1. Good general computing skills Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.

2. Experience of Intelligence Office so that we can start to exploit its capabilities.

3. Experience of using Defaqto Engage research & portfolio construction.

4. Experience in using Avelo Exchange.

5. Good inter personal skills the ability to work with both colleagues, clients & product providers.

6. Good organisational skills.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following functions:

1) Prepare client meeting packs for both new and existing individual & corporate clients.

2) Taking letter of authority information, writing out for info on existing plans.

3) Consolidate information received and chase outstanding.

4) Assist with the report research and construction where necessary.

5) Identify the correct submission procedure in relation to new business.( so that the client completes the correct paperwork.)

6) Ability is needed to submit business on line, and liaise with colleagues to determine date needed for records.

7) File organisation from both paper and electronic to create single “compliance file” in one place for checking and scanning onto I.0.

8) Chasing clients for outstanding information requests, scheduling reviews.

9) General help where possible from an administration view point/diary management of client reviews etc.

In return the client is offering a salary to £25K pro rata p/t for a 3 day week. (the role could develop into a f/t role, should the candidate wish)
