An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller within my clients finance team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a very hands-on, varied role that will include working closely with another Credit Controller to undertake a mixture of both sales ledger and credit control duties whilst reporting to the Finance Manager.

Main duties:
£ Maintaining new and existing accounts on the ledger
£ Releasing orders
£ Credit vetting new accounts
£ Cash collection via email, letter and telephone calls
£ Dealing with both UK and international customers
£ Liaison with internal debt collection agents

Ideal candidate:
£ Background in credit control
£ Knowledge of Microsoft software : particularly Excel
£ Excellent communication and organisational skills
£ The ability to work in both a team environment and also with your own initiative

A working knowledge of the Infor System 21 ledger system would be preferred however this is not essential. My client is offering a competitive package including a salary of £20,000 and free parking on site.
