We are currently working with a well-established International Hotel Group and they are recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to manage 2 of their key sites.

Reporting into the General Manager the role will involve managing the finance function for the 2 sites, including day to day running of the finance team, Monthly/ Quarterly and Annual Management accounting and Year-end accounts.

In addition to the technical accounting responsibility, the role will also work as part of the management team, where you will be involved with overall operational and commercial areas to improve performance and efficiency. Key duties will include;

•Management of a team of 10 accounts staff - overseeing all day to day accounting
•Preparation of the management pack, including analysis of the P&L, Balance sheet, site performance and variances ect
•Monthly management and quarterly accounts preparation
•Year-end Statutory accounting, including preparing the audit pack and liason with the auditors
•Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis
•Cash flow reporting and management
•Financial representative on behalf of the Business with bank, credit, contracts and legal issues
•Analysis of costs, sales, performance, variances, margins ect
•Overseeing all the day to day accounting including purchase, sales and general ledger, bank reconciliation, credit control, payroll, fixed assets and VAT

For this role candidates will be ideally fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and have proven managing the finance function of a similar business.

It is essential that candidates have strong experience working within the Hotel industry / Hospitality sector.
