Sourcing Manager : Andover - £35,000

Our client is a rapidly growing wholesaler in the building sector.

Through the growth of the company, they are seeking to employ a professional Sourcing Manager to support the Purchasing Function.

This new role for the business is a hybrid of Buying and Product Management, will involve close ties with the supplier base, constant product development and a full life cycle control of NPD.

• Identification of new product lines
• Negotiation of contract agreements
• Product management, involving packaging and delivery scoping

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
• 3 years experience in a supplier facing role within a wholesale business
• Commercial awareness of cost, price and margin.
• A record of KPI and SLA improvements with Vendors or Suppliers.
