Our client is part of a leading International Insurance group and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting into the FC, the role will involve working as part of a busy team and will be responsible for recording all financial statements, management of month-end processors, Year-end compliance and statutory reporting.

Managing a small team, key duties and responsibilities will include;

�Review and assist Quarterly and Year-end Statutory accounts preparation
�Filing accounts in accordance with PRA and FCA
�Manage the full month-end process, reviewing the balance sheet and P&L
�Multi-currency account and general ledger reconciliation
�Corporation Tax and review of VAT
�Manage 2-3 junior accountants
�Provide technical support to other departments
�Assisting with cash flow and the collections process
�Document and maintain processors in line with Solvency ll and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified ACA/ ACCA/CIMA and have a proven background within financial accounting.

Candidates must have significant experience of preparing financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP and have worked within a regulated PRA/FCA environment.

Ideally candidates will have experience within Insurance or Financial Services markets.

Working with a well established friendly team, candidates must have strong communication skills, be confident dealing with senior managers and be a self-starter.
