Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a Global Engineering company who are
looking to appoint a Senior Technical Recruiter to formulate and implement strategies to attract
experienced technical staff and graduate talent.

This is a strategic role within the HR team, carrying a high level of both candidate and manager interaction to bring a focused approach to targeting and sourcing experienced talent for the business.

Responsibilities:
• Plan strategic and creative ways to source Technical/Engineering talent, using various tools, including Linkedin Recruiter, and other social media, as well as augmenting relationships with our academic sources
• Work with Hiring Managers at various stages of the Recruiting Process, developing job descriptions that attract candidates
• Control the full life-cycle of recruiting, including pre-screening of candidates, interviewing and negotiating to secure the desired candidate
• Develop secondary source strategic focused partnerships with employment agencies
• Provide management reports and KPIs as required

Person Specification:
• Significant experience developing strategies with a strong focus on LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media/academic sources to attract top engineering talent
• Considerable skill in analysing candidate information to determine matches between candidates and job openings, as well as negotiating to secure candidates
• Knowledgeable with regard to industry trends, including client, market and employment conditions
• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth market
• Degree education preferred, must be CIPD qualified
• Robust recruiting background with a strong technical/engineering bias
• Strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to build relationships with various members of the organization
• Ability to form and cultivate long lasting academic relationships
• Familiarity with relevant software including applicant tracking tools
• High attention to detail, able to analyse, investigate and present information
• A motivated individual who can work autonomously but strongly supports the team
