Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working closely with an award winning MGA based in Leeds as they look to recruit a B2B Marketing Executive with a proven background in marketing insurance products and services to the UK’s insurance broker market.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communication, you will be accountable for developing and managing the marketing plan, campaigns and projects in line with business objectives and strategies.

Key duties include;

• Supporting specialist divisions to implement tactical marketing plans across the whole spectrum to support the business in achieving its objectives
• Copywriting : brochures, e-shots, bulletins, website and adverts
• Creation and production of ads, brochures, e-bulletins, event stands and other marketing materials
• Liaising with compliance teams to ensure all communications gain appropriate approvals
• Development of copy and content in support of internal comms, online presence and broader customer engagement program
• Event management and delivery including corporate hospitality
• Develop co-ordinated lead generation/share of wallet initiatives through the use of customer insight, market segmentation and innovative marketing campaigns
• Ownership of the marketing budget and reporting
• Regular monitoring and good awareness of competitor propositions/strategies in respective sectors of the market

Key skills include;

• Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
• Strong numerical, analytical skills and a proficient user of Microsoft packages.
• Ability to communicate effectively; work well with a team and have a pro-active, 'can do' attitude
• Attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Previous insurance or financial services sector experience would be an advantage
