We are working with a luxury hotel group and they are looking for an ambitious and driven Financial Controller to join the group.

For this role candidates must be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and have proven experience within the Hotel industry.

They are looking for someone who is wanting to progress their career and move into a Group FC role, taking on further responsibility. So this would be a great role for an Assistant FC of FC with a smaller group, looking for the next step in their career.

Reporting into the Vice President (FD), the role will involve managing the head-office accounts department, preparing consolidated accounts and supporting the management team. Key duties will include;

•Monthly group consolidation of accounts for 10 hotels in the group (including UK GAAP and IFRS reporting)
•Management accounting and preparation of the monthly management pack
•Statutory accounting and preparing reports for the auditors
•Financial analysis and performance reporting - KPI's, capital expenditure, cash reporting, cost and sales analysis
•Budgeting and Forecasting, including 10 Year Plan, Monthly and annual variance analysis
•Management of a team of 3 people
•Overseeing transactional accounting and all day to day finance, including foreign currency and inter-company accounting

For this role candidates must be confident hold excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.

Ideally candidates will have experience working in a multi-site or cluster accounting role, and have some international accounting experience.
