My client, a five star business resort, is looking for a permanent Payroll Administrator with experience in the hospitality industry to join their growing team. This role, based near the Hatfield area in Hertfordshire, will be mainly focused upon processing the payroll for all employees however will combine purchase ledger tasks two days per week. The nature of the position means the day-to-day activities would be varied and report into the Financial Controller.

Main duties:
Payroll
- Processing and administration of monthly payroll of all staff
- Management reporting and statutory filing (P14, P11D, P45, P46)
- Creating month end payroll journals
- Undertaking month and year end reconciliations
- Maintaining records of absence
Purchase ledger
- Posting invoices
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Dealing with queries and investigating discrepancies

Ideal candidate:
- 3 years experience doing Payroll in a hospitality environment
- Working knowledge of Sage and MS Office: Excel
- Flexible nature to day-to-day work

This role would be perfect for someone who is immediately available and is a commutable distance to Hatfield. My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £21,000 dependant on experience.
