A reputable insurance brokerage based in the North West has a fantastic opening for an experienced New Business Account Handler to join their team. A fantastic salary and negotiable package is on offer to the right candidate.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing commercial clients from a variety of industries. You will provide a service to clients across the UK in relation to all liabilities, property, motor fleet, manufacturing, contractors and motor trade.

In addition to your own loyal client bank, you will have access to an up to date customer base which you will be expected to convert. Keenness to prospect new business is required to expand the broker portfolio and profitability.

Candidates applying for this vacancy will ideally be experienced within new business insurance sales or currently working as a handler and looking to make a step into new business. You will be technically strong with good knowledge on all classes of commercial business on an SME level. You must have a strong and confident personality with the ability to generate new business opportunities. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 1 year insurance broking experience. Our client is looking for an ambitious individual who is innovative and bright and is looking to form a career for themselves. Cert CII qualification would be advantageous however full training and support will be provided for the right person. A full UK driving licence and own transport would put candidates at an advantage.
