My client is a leading business within the energy efficiency sector and they are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join one of their fast growing field based sales teams.

£30,000 Basic Salary, £30,000 Bonus (60k OTE) plus Car Allowance and travel expenses.

Supporting the Sales Director the role will involve managing a team of field based Green Deal Sales Reps around the South East (Essex, Cambridge and Suffolk).

For this role candidates must have proven experience within the energy sector and have knowledge of the Green Deal initiative (ideally GDSA Qualified).

Key duties will include;
•Inspire the team with a positive focused attitude in order to maximize productivity
•Recruitment and training of staff to ensure a high calibre sales skills and standards
•Mentoring and Coaching staff through regular field visits, team-meetings and one to one’s
•Effective Performance Management of staff to ensure consistent high performance
•Monitoring the quality of business through compliance and effective administration
•Instigate and manage disciplinary action when appropriate in line with HR policies
•Motivate staff to be passionate, open and honest in their business.
•Effective reporting and communication to the Sales Director
•Customer satisfaction. Own and manage all customer complaints and ensure resolution
•Identify future or potential opportunities to improve results
•Awareness and management of team costs including fleet, commission, expenses.

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven management experience and have worked in B2C (Business to Consumer) markets, within field based roles.

The role will managing a team of 10-20 people and will be responsible for all aspects of day to day management, recruitment, training and performance management.

Candidates must be extremely confident and professional, hold excellent communication skills and have a drive and proven track record within sales management.
