Job Information

Cameron James Professional Recruitment are looking for a Part-time HR & Payroll Manager to process monthly payroll & pension from start through to completion and to administer all HR functions throughout the business.

Responsibilities:
• Create job descriptions for new roles with department managers
• Place adverts and liaise with recruitment agencies
• Conduct CV screening and first interviews and issue offer letters and contracts
• Obtain references for all new starters
• Design and implement HR policies and update the employee handbook
• Assess individual learning and development needs
• Maintain staff files
• Ensure exit interviews and leaver forms are complete
• Maintain payroll data
• Process payroll on monthly basis and complete payroll year-end
• Undertake all benefits administration
• Ensure HR policy complies with current legislation
• Support line managers with staff management

Person Specification:
• Ideally have an HR qualification & HMRC approved payroll training
• Significant payroll and HR generalist experience would be advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practice and current legislation
• Comprehensive knowledge of Payroll best practice and current legislation
• A desire to seek continual improvement
• Good IT skills with a good knowledge of MS excel & word
• Computer experience of HR and Payroll functions
• Willing to be time flexible to complete the job
• Able to prioritise, manage deadlines and make decisions
• A strong character with a calm nature
• Effective and diplomatic interpersonal skills
