Job Information

Our client is a large and reputable manufacturer of premium products for the home restoration sector.

They are looking for a catagory specialist within appliances and accessory fixtures, candidates must be able to demonstrate continuos improvement experience, such as Kaizen or 5S.

JOB PURPOSE

Operate the sourcing strategy resulting in strong supplier relationships, products and development, to support the direction of the Executive and overall strategy execution

Defends and offers increased market share through new product availability
Vendor relationship management on a daily basis
Negotiation of commercial frameworks
A deep understanding of markets, supply chain operations and products
Develop new markets and new products for the future using long term development plans and research and development budgets with suppliers
Understand/anticipate future legislation change, market requirements and appropriate product availability
Continuously improve the 4 lever metrics
Maintain the operating system for accuracy and delivery of terms and conditions
