My client based in Wincantan a premium frozen food specialist, currently looking for an Accountant Assistant to join their busy team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist company who is continually growing.

You must have worked in a similar role for the last year and previous experience with Navision and foreign currencies would be an advantage.

£ Maintaining the sales ledger accounts
£ Keeping credit insurance limits and contracts up to date
£ Chasing outstanding invoices
£ Answering and resolving invoice queries
£ Raising credit notes
£ Balancing the ledger
£ Day to day management of invoice discounting agreement
£ Coding, matching and batching invoices
£ Running monthly payment runs
£ Making foreign transfer payments and other immediate payments
£ Reconciling the ledger
£ Reconciling bank accounts
£ Any other ad hoc duties

The client is looking to pay around £23,000 per annum dependent upon experience. The working hours are 9am to 5.30pm but can be flexible for the right person.
