Our client is one of the world's premier engineering, procurement, construction and services companies, employing over 27,000 people in more than 70 countries on six continents.

Since 2006 they have under taken a rapid expansion into new markets, this has led to the development of a new commercial contract culture. Part of their focus on service delivery has been the re-organisation of their FM function; due to this they are now seeking a new FM Service Delivery Manager.

Department Structure:
There are no direct reports, upwards the role is responsible to the Senior FM Service Delivery Manager and will be a key member in a team of 3 others.

Based in West London, the right person needs to be a subject matter expert in FM and in particular hard services. You will need to be looking for a challenge and hungry to learn quickly in what will be a testing environment on a major contract.

Role:
You will be the first point of contact with the client and act as the client in a truly operational sense, so will be a key figure in the supply chain delivery. Attention to detail is important, however more critical is that you can build relationships quickly, have high standards of customer care, be commercial and understand the etiquette of the managing agent model.
The person will be able to develop their experience of contractor and contract management across a diverse supply chain, not only responsible for hard service but will provide cover for the other managers (Soft & Transactional account) when needed.

Candidates must demonstrate the following experience:
• Operational contract management - day to day you will be managing suppliers and contracts to ensure best value from the supply chain.
• Supplier performance monitoring against benchmark criteria.
• Instigating, providing training for and raising awareness of SLA's and KPI's.
• Management of sizable budgets - Procurement responsibility will be in the region of £35m across a broad supplier base.
• Supplier performance improvement by implementing structured action plans.
• Maintaining performance dashboards - reporting on performance, identifying trends with a view of increasing improvement opportunities, reducing costs, improving quality and performance
• Hard FM contracts, preferably you will possess good technical qualifications and have been working in a similar role for 3 years minimum.
• Delivering projects to budget/time and delivering savings across multiple FM categories.

You will need to pass a MPS security check and ideally be MCIPS/ BIFM (or equivalent) qualified.

The remuneration for the role is circa £40,000 plus a good benefits package, to be expected of a major corporation.
