Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with an engineering organisation who are looking to add a HR Advisor to their HR Team for a 6 month contract.
I am seeking an experienced generalist HR Advisor who has strong TUPE experience within either the Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction or Facilities sector. The successful candidate will also have experience within Change Management and Projects.
Responsibilities:
• To manage and proactively resolve all aspects of the employee life cycle within the level of experience. This includes resourcing, attendance, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Assist with change programmes including TUPE
• To ensure best practice is followed by providing effective professional HR advice and guidance in line with current legislation and company policies and procedures.
• To assist the HR Department in improving HR management as measured by HR KPIs.
• To provide professional HR support and advice
• Sharing best practice within the HR Department.
• Deputising for the Group HR Manager as required.
• Produce HR related reports as required.
• Develop and implement HR systems and reports to ensure accurate management of information
• Prepare HR and Payroll documentation accurately and efficiently.
Person Specification:
• Will have experience as a member of a HR Department.
• Must have TUPE experience
• Will ideally have construction industry knowledge.
• Have knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Will be CIPD qualification.
• Will have effective communication and influencing skills with a tactful and diplomatic disposition.
• Will be able to liaise with people at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
• Will enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
• Will be a team player.
• Will have an excellent level of computer literacy and experience in HR systems.
