An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join a well-respected Corporate Insurance Brokerage in Kent.
The successful incumbent will work very closely with Account Executives who specialises in writing higher end commercial and corporate business. Minimum premiums will be worth £15,000 but generally significantly higher, covering a broad range of risks including commercial property, renewable energy, PI, D&O, liability and Specialist Risks.
Key accountabilities will be contacting clients prior to renewal within compliance manual timescales and preparation of renewal schedules, negotiating quotes prior to the renewal date where appropriate. In addition to this, you will deal with all documentation relating to new business, invoices, credit notes etc. ensuring a smooth and trouble free application for the client. You will obtain quotes and place new business as well as handle claims effectively, liaising with insurers ensuring speedy settlement. It will be of utmost importance to ensure delegated authority agency agreements are not exceeded as well as to maintain good relationships with insurers and clients.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have extensive experience acting as a Commercial or Corporate Account Handler with experience of assessing a broad range of commercial risks, handling both new and existing business with premium sizes above £15,000. You will be a confident negotiator with experience obtaining quotes, placing business and working closely with an Account Executive. Applicants will ideally be part CII qualified however this is not essential. Excellent communication skills and effective relationship management ability are an absolute must.
