We are working with a well-established retail business and they are recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant / Part-Qualified Accountant.

Working as part of a team the role reports into the Finance Director and the main focus of the role is preparing month-end and Year-end accounts. Key duties will include;

�Month-end accounting - Balance Sheet reconciliations/income and expenditure analysis/ P&L analysis
�Financial reporting and Year end audit preparation
�Inter-company postings and reconciliations
�Preparation of monthly forecasting reports with variance analysis
�Sales analysis with detailed graphs and variance analysis
�Cost Centre controls
�Preparing and submitting of quarterly VAT returns
�Multi-currency bank reconciliations
�Calculation and posting of periodical GL Journals
�Preparation and submittal of Intrastat/EC Sales manual returns
�Oversee and manage internal retail financial audits

For this role candidates will ideally be studying towards ACCA / CIMA and have proven experience within a similar role.

Experience working within Retail / Fashion (or similar) would be advantageous.
