We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to cover M25 Bowl. You will report directly into The Sales Director.

Responsibilities:
To develop orders growth within the defined sales Territory. M25 Bowl.
To maximise conversion of quotes by volume and value.
To approach agreed industry and market sectors in line with company strategy.
To manage the sales funnel inc. quote follow-up calendar.
To communicate at all levels with customers and Company team members, by all forms of media in a right and proper manner.
To support the estimating/quoting function with a view to maximising value and chances of conversion.
To manage quote information (contact data, opportunities 0-4, specification and pricing).
Respond to technical queries including site visits with a view to converting the quote.
Respond to Pre-Start/PQQ requests with a view to converting the quote.
To carry our sales/marketing presentations inc. CPD with a view to generating future demand and/or converting the quote.
To carry out such additional work responsibilities as may reasonably be considered necessary by the Management.

Objectives:
To achieve orders from the Territory equating to £ within the Period.
To achieve an average cumulative point of order Gross margin of % from the Territory.
To achieve a cumulative quote conversion ratio of % against quotations from the Territory.
To achieve quality unique enquiries per month.
To produce individual market strategy reports as and when required.
To produce individual project related strategy reports as and when required.

To have demonstrated a full and clear understanding of all business critical information as covered in Level 1 and 2 training.


Tasks:
To produce a monthly report for the Sales Director containing the following information:
o Quote generation by value, volume and product group for your given Territory and/or product group.
o Orders by value, volume and product group for your given Territory and/or product group.
o Strategic approaches to specific countries in line with Cooper’s strategy.
o Market information inc. product and installation issues, competitor activity, market opportunities and reasons for non quote conversion.
