My client is seeking to appoint a highly Commercial Finance Director, partnering alongside the Managing Director and the Board in providing strategic support at a successful, ambitious and passionate SME business. This role will involve managing the Finance Function and overseeing all of the financial aspects of the company's strategy.
The Finance Director will:

• Partner the Board / MD in helping to ensure that the business is run commercially and continues to grow.
• Support all the commercial decision making of the business
• Liaison with banks and corporate finance partners
• Provide robust management information to Senior Management and Board
• Have considerable input into the day to day operations and long term strategy of the business
• Oversee a small team in finance, dealing with the management reporting and financial controls
• Oversee the budget and long range planning proposals
• Company secretary
• Statutory requirements
• Tax and VAT
Applicants for this role:
• Qualified Accountant
• Ideally have experience within a SME
• Must either have proven experience in a commercial Finance Director role.
• Will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
• Have strong commercial acumen
