Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant / Leeds City Centre / Permanent / Salary / £22,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our reputable city centre based client

Working in an experienced, well established accounts team duties and responsibilities will include:

• To assist with the production of the company’s management accounts
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations (essential)
• Accruals & prepayments
• Journal entries
• To provide management accounts analysis to support the business
• Overhead cost centre reporting and monitoring
• Forecasting
• Involvement in VAT returns
• Fixed Assets register & accounting

Please note that only candidates with strong experience of the above mentioned duties will be considered for this vacancy. Strong Excel skills are essential. Candidates that are CIMA/ACCA part qualified would be very much preferred.
