Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a Professional Services organisation who are looking to appoint a HR Consultant to their existing Team. The HR Consultant will provide HR advisory services on all elements of HR both domestic and international to external clients.

Responsibilities:
• Provide the highest quality of International HR services to a demanding client portfolio. Identifying requirements, delivering timely advice and solutions as agreed with the Client.
• Ensure the work for each Client is progressed as agreed and that problems/issues are highlighted as early as possible in the process and managed to a positive outcome.
• Review the circumstances of each client to identify and recommend business development opportunities for other services offered by the HCC team and the company.
• Build strong client relationships with CFO’s, HR Directors and Senior Managers to support their HR strategy around the world. Work closely with internal departments and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent client service.
• Liaise with local payroll and legal partners in receiving countries to effectively project manage on-boarding and exit cases. Ensure appropriate advice and assistance is sought and that those services are managed to maximum effect.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and be involved in continuous learning and contribute to the continuous learning of others. Learn how to update technical trackers and resources and thereafter maintain them on a regular and comprehensive basis to ensure internal records are up to date.
• Keep abreast of developments in International HR that will impact the Client base. The Company will provide reasonable support and assistance to help you achieve this responsibility.
• Provide technical and operational HR advice and draft supporting documents for all aspects of the local employment cycle including in country hiring and employment contracts, advice on ad hoc queries and local employment law, internal HR policies, variations of terms, transfers, employee benefits, performance and termination cases and other relevant HR and Employment law matters.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects which develop the most competitive and cost effective products including tailored country HR guides.

Person Specification:
• Advisory level knowledge of Employment Law and HR Best practices, in at least the UK and/or International.
• Able to communicate with senior client employees with the appropriate credibility and gravitas.
• Able to facilitate meetings (including teleconferences) dealing with demanding or technical issues.
• Able to quickly analyse a request and produce a confident response despite pressure.
• Able to display information in a format to assist understanding, impact and professionalism.
• Proficient use of Word, Excel and office systems : can extract and manage data efficiently
• Awareness of the organisational strategic aims and actively extends their influence throughout the organisation.
• Reviews work/activities thoroughly to ensure all pertinent issues are dealt with at a detailed level and documented appropriately.
• Previous experience in a Human Resources, Employment law or professional services environment
• Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Passion for Human Resources and desire to develop in an international environment.
• Experience with building customer relationships
• Managing a variety of work demands in a high pressure environment
• High standard of written and spoken English
• Experience of advising external Clients on Employment Law and HR related issues
• Experience of providing external client advisory services in and/or with an International Operation, preferably a USA technology Company
• Familiar with start-up situations across either/both EMEA or APAC
