I am currently recruiting for a HR Business Analyst in South East London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation which is growing and is investing within its HR Function. This is a new role which will report into the HR Director. The purpose of the role is to develop and deliver an effective modern integrated HR IT solution for the growing needs of the business.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of computer system operations and have experience of implementing a HR IT system within a large organisation. They must have project management experience and experience of developing training plans for the implementation of the system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under direction, serve as a liaison between the Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of HR information systems
• Work with all levels of HR staff in assessing needs for various business functions. Assist management in identifying and analysing options and recommends business process enhancements.
• Works with HR staff in the development of project scope of work documents and project plans that include analysis of cost, benefit, work schedule, related risks and return on investment.
• Provides project oversight from design through implementation. Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates on project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur during the course of projects. Monitors project work to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines and is completed on a timely basis.
• Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals.
• Works with functional areas to identify roles of project team members, project reporting structures, frequency of interaction and training requirements.
• Assists team members in identifying reports that are needed by the department and users of HR information.
• Participates in IT Status meetings for identification and resolution of issues and consideration and evaluation of potential system enhancements and upgrades.
• Assists HR project team members with technical issues related to the HR IT system by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues.
• Maintains familiarity with all computer systems used in the department, utilising them as needed, evaluating their effectiveness and making recommendations for enhancements.
• Assists in developing training plans and training documents. Assists in training HR Department staff and others utilising HR computer systems, supervising staff closely in implementation phases of new systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Have experience of implementing integrated HR IT systems as part of an overall solution project in large organisations.
• Considerable knowledge of computer operations and computer systems analysis.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators and their application and how they can be used to effect improvement.
• Knowledge of Axapta 3 systems and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (Desirable)
• Project management experience.
• Working knowledge of and experience in utilising and creating databases and spreadsheets
• Extensive full-time experience in computer system operations.
• Evidence of delivering Employer Brand and recruitment advertising strategies and solutions at a senior advisory or management level in a medium to large sized business or recruitment agency.
• Ability to solve problems related to computer system software and operations
• The ability to research, prepare, justify and present project reports.
• Able to produce results to demanding deadlines and work on a number of key issues simultaneously.
• Evidence of delivering service improvements through the redesign of processes and procedures.
