Job Information

Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a National business services provider who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor to provide high quality, commercial advice and operational support for a major transformation programme for an initial fixed term contract of 6 months.

Responsibilities:
• Support the HR Business Partner with change management programme
• Provide support with TUPE activity
• To provide high quality HR advice and support to the organisation including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and people management change initiatives.
• Providing support with recruitment activity
• To support the HR Business Partner in strategic HR objectives
• To provide support on other ad hoc projects

Person Specification:
• Generalist HR experience, preferably gained within a commercial, fast paced environment.
• A proven record of dealing with industrial relations issues.
• A proven track record of dealing with complex HR issues, including employee consultation, redundancy situations and TUPE.
• Hold or actively be working towards graduate membership of CIPD.
• A proven record of building effective relationships.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation.
• Demonstrable experience of using initiative and working to deadlines.
• Experience of working in a changing environment and providing HR solutions to business problems.
• Practical experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong employee relations experience
• Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and strong research skills
• Experience of providing pragmatic and commercial advice in relation to employee relations issues with the ability to weigh up risk
• A strong consultative style with proven stakeholder management skills
• Resilient and adaptable in dealing with stakeholders
• Ability to influence and build credible relationships
• Flexible with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining discretion and professionalism in all matters
• Project Management experience
