An excellent opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler has come available within a reputable and expanding Insurance Broker in the Birmingham Area.

The role will be dealing with the day to day servicing of a portfolio of existing clients, proving renewal quotes and processing renewal invitations, processing mid-term amendments and some claims handling. Alongside this there will be an element of processing new business submissions and providing support to account executives.

It is essential that candidates have a minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience dealing with a variety of SME products on a daily basis. Products will range between Property, BI, Motor Fleet, Combined Liability, Commercial Combined, D&O, Engineering and Inspection, Contract Works and Professional Indemnity with premium spends between £1000 and £30,000.

A strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel would be considered essential with previous experience working with Acturis, Open GI or similar software being advantageous. Cert CII qualifications are desirable.
