My client, a property contractor company, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who has worked in the construction sector to join their expanding team. This role requires a self-motivated individual who will not shy away from taking responsibility to manage the company’s accounts. Working in a team of two people, this role reports into the Finance Manager and Commercial Director

Main duties:
• Invoice processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control
• Submission of all CIS, PAYE and VAT returns
• Assisting with preparation of management accounts
• Reviewing payment orders
• Reconciling supplier accounts

Ideal candidate:
• 3 years’+ experience in Accounts
• Worked in the construction sector
• Knowledge of Sage 50 and MS Office
• Ability to work from own initiative

This role will suit someone from a construction background who is looking to gain more responsibility in a Bookkeeper role.
