CIMA Part Qualified Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Durham / Contract / Salary / £23,000 - £26,000

Please note only CIMA part qualified candidates with manufacturing experience will be considered for this role.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CIMA Part Qualified Assistant Accountant to join our exceptional manufacturing client based in Durham.

Working within their medium sized accounts team and reporting into the Finance Manager, duties and responsibilities will include:

• To assist with the production of the company’s management accounts
• Journal entries
• Stock counts
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Accruals & prepayments
• To provide management accounts analysis to support the business
• Overhead cost centre reporting and monitoring
• VAT returns

Please note that only candidates with strong experience of the above mentioned duties will be considered for this vacancy. Strong Excel skills are essential.

Please note that is a contract role for c6months.
