Job Information

I am looking for a patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable HR Advisor with experience of dealing with HIGH VOLUME case-loads.

Main responsibilities are:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
? Daily point of contact for HR activity within nominated team
? Dealing with issues raised by employees (directly or indirectly by referral from the HR Manager)
? Assisting managers to understand policies and procedures
? Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
? Managing a case-load to include all disciplinary/grievances up to final written warning stage, seeking clarification, support and liaising closely with the HR Manager as appropriate.
? Managing recruitment, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, ensure candidates are pre screened in a timely manner for manager review, booking interviews for shortlisted candidates, provide interview material to relevant manager
? Producing offer letters, key person agreements, contracts, new starter packs for all new starters
? Alerting managers of trigger points reached in accordance with the Absence Management Policy
? Managing long term sickness in accordance with the Absence Management Policy
? Administering and maintaining personnel records relating to staff
? Administrating and maintaining records relating to staff
? Administer the probationary review periods
? Manage the leaver administration process
? Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the HR department
? Undertake other duties as directed by line managers commensurate with the post
? Attendance at Employment Tribunals as and when required
