Our client is a growing and successful law firm based in central London; we are working with them to recruit an experienced Legal Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The role will be to partner and support management with the running of the firm and will be responsible for the firms’ finances.

This varied and exciting role will include the following duties:

- Reporting to the Senior Partner and Head of Operations;
- Fully operating of the accounts department on bookkeeping, petty cash maintenance, suppliers ledgers, disbursement process, billing process, bank reconciliations, bank receipts and payment process and maintenance, Month End and Year End close; filing, basic management reports preparation etc;
- HMRC requirements for VAT & PAYE/NI and in charge of payroll system, had Sage Payroll Experience;
- Had bookkeeping and legal cashier’s Legal Sector experiences is a must;
- Basic knowledge to comply with SRA Accounts Rules ;
- Liaise with external Financial Consultant regarding year end accounting, tax, auditing works etc.

Requirements;

- Ideally a Part Qualified Accountant (ACMA/ACA/ACCA/AAT).
- Had bookkeeping and legal cashier’s Legal Sector experiences is a must;
- Basic knowledge to comply with SRA Accounts Rules ;
