Credit Control / Credit Controller / Halifax / Permanent / Salary / £20,000 - £24,000

Our Halifax based client, is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join on a permanent basis.

This is a standalone role reporting into the Finance Manager and responsible for a large ledger, duties and responsibilities will include:

� To set up customer accounts: checking credit ratings and applying appropriate terms
� Contact customers regularly to ensure all invoices are paid within terms
� Deal with statements (monthly)
� Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the business
� Post payments to accounts and allocate as required
� Account reconciliations as required
� Maintain and accurately record customer details
� Chase overdue monies by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
� Deal with all Credit Note requests timely, providing a reason for all credits
� Negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
� Reporting were required
