Our client is a growing SME based and due to continued growth, are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to join the business.
Working closely with the MD the main focus of the role will be to improve business performance, enhance and grow sales and develop client relationships.
This role will have strong strategic and commercial involvement and will be responsible for managing the operational plan, developing teams and monitoring business performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities will include;

Work in partnership with the MD to develop the operational plan and deliver on service levels to support the delivery of the strategic agenda
Lead the operational plan, ensuring teams across the business deliver on SLA’s, KPI’s and Financial Targets
Full P&L accountability and ensuring teams meet and exceed productivity, profitability and quality targets
Supporting and developing functions across the business
Work with the MS and Sales teams assisting in the development of business opportunities through new contacts and new revenue streams
Involvement with business growth - identification and successful integration of business acquisitions
Work alongside the new business development team to ensure all new business is effectively and productively executed
Manage and develop designated new and existing key accounts through driving customer excellence
For this role candidates will need to have proven experience heading up operations and have worked in a client facing role. As the role with have P&L responsibility, it will be essential that candidates have a strong accounting understanding.
Excellent communications are essential for this role and you will be responsible for developing both internal and external relationships.
Service Industry experience would be preferable.
