We are working with a well-established retail business and they are recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant / Part-Qualified Accountant.

Working as part of a team the role reports into the Finance Director and the main focus of the role is preparing month-end and Year-end accounts.

Key duties will include:

� Month-end accounting - Balance Sheet reconciliations/income and expenditure analysis/ P&L analysis
� Financial reporting and Year end audit preparation
� Inter-company postings and reconciliations
� Preparation of monthly forecasting reports with variance analysis
� Sales analysis with detailed graphs and variance analysis
� Cost Centre controls
� Preparing and submitting of quarterly VAT returns
� Multi-currency bank reconciliations
� Calculation and posting of periodical GL Journals
� Preparation and submittal of Intrastat/EC Sales manual returns
� Oversee and manage internal retail financial audits


For this role candidates will ideally be ACCA / CIMA qualified or near qualification and have proven experience within a similar role.

Experience working within Retail / Fashion (or similar) would be advantageous.
