I am currently recruiting for a logistics and transport company in the heart of the city and they are looking for an experienced Qualified Accountant.
Duties andresponsibilities;

Producing monthly management accounts with detailed analysis, using an in house system
Cash management
Managing 9 separate bank accounts
Dealing with multicurrencies (previous experience of this is essential)
Creating reports
VAT returns
Payroll for approx 70 monthly staff
Calculating pensions
Assisting with the development of new IT system (not imminently)
Dealing with a number of different year ends
Prepare monthly forecasts
Monitoring bank accounts daily
Managing a team of 10 people
Liaising with different countries therefore you must have excellent communication skills
For this role it is essential that candidates areACCAqualifiedand have proven experience working as an Accountant managing a team. This is a busy role but itis working for a company where there is extremely low employee turnover - the role has only become available due to retirement.Candidates musthave strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Candidates must be well organised and have excellent Excel skills as you will be working heavily with this programme.
